    I’ve loved this collection of books and all of Douglas Adams other work. Sadly, I struggle to read from printed paper nowadays so thought I would invest in an electronic copy to read on the iPad and then I found out how much is wanted for the set! Sadly, no purchase from me at that price given what I can get them for in printed or audio version.

    I've been reading this on the bus too and from school for the past week and the only thing I can say as an aspiring author is that I could not be more jealous of how awesome this guy was, and now all ma bros are reading it! But seriously Apple this pricing is a bit g@sh, I could buy everything on offer for school dinners for this much.

    The book itself is of course wonderful, funny and entertaining. However, how Apple have the nerve to charge such a ridiculous price, I cannot work out. Worse still, this ebook is badly formatted, with title pages merging into contents pages, no effort has been made to convert this into a product worthy of charging even a small amount, let alone the extortionate price. Such a real shame, this series will be left out of my collection until Apple sorts itself out. As always, thumbs up to Douglas Adams, sure he'd have something witty to say about it.

    First book I have been able to read from e-cover to e-cover. I am recovering from a stroke, which I had 2 years ago in April 2009, so that is a pretty important stage for me to progress through. DA and his works are an inspiration to me, if only I had read them earlier in my 51 years (it makes sense of some bits of my schoolyears now!). I have downloaded the rest of his 'trilogy of five' and am looking forward to reading them. Not the most incisive review, but it is the beat I can come up with for now. Biz
